私は早朝から読書を心がけていますが、夕方や夜に読むのとでは、まったく頭に入ってくる量が違うことを実感します。また、仕事が溜まっているときは、朝起きたらすぐにやることにしますが、効率が全然違います！
朝起きた時は（寝ぼけ時間を過ぎた頃ですが）頭の中が一番片付いている状態と言われています。きれいに片付けられた机の上のような状態で、時間が経過すると机の上に色々とものが乗ってきて集中力が下がるようなイメージです。
集中力が必要な大事な仕事は、この時間帯に行うのがおすすめです。脳の黄金時間とも言われています。
方法② 睡眠を確保する
睡眠にはストレス解消・疲労回復・記憶の定着など様々なメリットがあります。また、睡眠の質がよければ次の日の集中力が全く変わってきます。
寝不足で調子のよい人などいないと思いますが、寝不足が何日も続くと、脳の働きが極端に低下することも分かっています。
忙しくて時間がないから、睡眠時間を削って仕事するという人もいると思います。
しかし、考え方を変えて睡眠時間を確保すれば集中力が上がる→仕事の効率がアップ→睡眠時間の確保と考えることをおすすめします。
寝不足が続くと、普段30分で終わるような仕事でも、倍以上かかってしまうこともあります。こうなってしまうと負のサイクルに突入してしまいます…。
睡眠の質の上げ方ですが、人によって効果のある方法が変わってくると思います。おすすめはスマホを見る時間を減らして読書をすることです。
読書には様々なメリットがありますが、リラクゼーション効果もありますので、寝付きがよくなります。

特に注意が必要なのはスマホです。スマホは便利なので様々な機能がついています。時計代わりにすれば、時間だけを見るつもりが気づいたらSNSを見ていた、検索だけのつもりが、娯楽のアプリを立ち上げてやってしまっていたということになりがちです。
スマホはとても脳を疲労させることが分かっています。また、依存させるように作られています。
スマホは使い方次第です。便利ですが、集中力を爆下げすることにもなるので注意が必要です。デジタルデトックスという言葉もあるくらいで、集中したい時は手の届かないところに置かないほうがよいです。電源を切るという人もいます。
何かがきっかけで一度集中力が途切れると、集中力を取り戻すまでに20分程度かかるという報告もあります。スマホの通知音などが、20分以内で鳴ってしまうと、集中力が維持できない状態が続くことになってしまいます。
他にも集中力を上げる方法はありますので、自分にあったものを試してみて下さい。
